When you use wake.meup.ai, we collect:
- Phone number — to deliver your wake-up calls and verify your identity
- IP address — for rate limiting and abuse prevention
- Conversation transcripts — records of your wake-up call conversations
- AI-generated summaries — brief summaries of each call, used to personalize future calls
- Personal notes — optional hints you provide to customize your call
- Voice preference and timezone — to configure your calls
- Payment metadata — Stripe session IDs and transaction references (we do not store card numbers)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver and schedule your wake-up calls
- To personalize future calls using conversation memory (your last 3 call summaries)
- To prevent abuse through rate limiting
- To process payments via Stripe
- To improve the service
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate:
- Twilio — telephony and call delivery (Privacy Policy)
- OpenAI — AI voice generation and conversation (Privacy Policy)
- Stripe — payment processing (Privacy Policy)
Per OpenAI's API data usage policy, your conversation data sent through their API is not used to train their models.
4. Data Retention
Conversation transcripts and AI-generated summaries are retained for 90 days, then deleted. Call scheduling records and payment references are retained indefinitely for accounting purposes.
5. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your data by emailing hello@wake.meup.ai. Phone verification records, call logs, and transcripts will be deleted within 30 days of your request.
6. Cookies
We do not use cookies. No tracking or analytics cookies are set.
7. Data Processing Location
Your data is processed in the United States. Our servers, and those of our third-party providers (Twilio, OpenAI, Stripe), are located in the US.
8. Children
This service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
